Rathgormack

A village at the heart of the Comeragh Mountains & Nire Valley Drives near which walkers can access the largest lake in the Comeraghs, Coumshingaun Lough, via Kilclooney Wood.

Just over 6km to the east of the village is Mothel Abbey (13th c.).

Situated in the Comeragh Mountains in the picturesque village of Rathgormack, the Rathgormack Hiking Centre is a purpose built, Board Failte approved Hostel with accommodation for 20 people.
